  • New Church in Francis Town

We praise the Lord for our newest ministry. We have been praying for this church for over twenty years. The new church is in Francis Town, Botswana, at the Francis Town Center for the Deaf.

Pastor Tshenolo and his team are doing a fantastic job! We recently had the joy of visiting them in Francis Town, and we saw about thirty souls receive a new life in Christ.

Please be in prayer for this needful ministry and Pastor Tshenolo.

We are praying for support for Pastor Tshenolo to be married by the end of this year. We need to raise money for his Lobola (dowery). We are praying to raise about $5000 for him to pay for the wedding and to have a little to begin his new life.

  • Early Intervention Center

Our Early Intervention Center's first contract is almost complete. This Center will help us reach deaf children ages three to five and prepare them for first grade.

We praise the Lord that we have mostly been able to complete it with our funds, but we are left with about $6000 of extra work we could not accomplish due to inflation in Ethiopia and the price of labor and materials.

The Building will be usable by the next school year, but much is still needed to meet Government standards.

Please pray with us as we prayerfully continue the work.

  • Parsonage

About a year ago, I wrote in our letter that we had received land from the chief in Ramotswa to build a parsonage for the church pastor.

Despite the setbacks of theft and a land dispute, our community's resilience has shone through. We have recently been given the green light to continue with the construction, and we are now back on track!

Carella and the men of First Deaf Bible Baptist Church have begun the construction again and are making significant progress.

Due to inflation and theft issues, we need to raise an additional $3000 to complete the process.
